Hello! My name is Shannon and I am 36 years old. I have recently returned from teaching English overseas and I am currently seeking part-time childcare opportunities as most of my work experience has centered around working with children. During my time as an English teacher, I worked with most age groups within the school and feel very comfortable with children of any age. I have held multiple long-term babysitting/nannying jobs over the past 15 years. When I was 13, I began to work for families from my church and hometown and then later on for several families while I was studying at college. I am also the 2nd oldest of seven children, so the responsibilities involved with working with children comes very naturally to me! Shannon babysat our 6-month-old son while we went on a date. She is friendly and warm, has a calm presence, and was attentive to our son, checking in on him regularly. She followed the instructions I gave her (and went beyond!) and I felt confident she would know what to do if any surprises came up. I would absolutely recommend her!
