I have worked with developmentally disabled adults with advanced Alzheimer's and also the elderly with various diagnosis for 15 years. I supervised a Group Home for these individuals for 12 of these years until moving to Orlando. Now, here in Orlando I am currently doing in-home private care. I believe our our elderly folks, our grandparents deserve the best of care as they age, and become more fragile. I feel keeping their independence and dignity is of utmost importance when in my care. I don't feel care-taking is just a job, but my clients have become my family. Their safety and emotional well being is also a priority when in my care.
