About Shannon

I'd describe my personality as responsible, caring, patient, and creative! I like working with kids because they always help remind me of the little joys in life, how fun learning can be, and not to ever take oneself too seriously! I'm looking for a job that is either more of a regular weekly schedule or one off needs. I've worked with children ages 14 weeks to teen. My very first job after school was a "mothers helper" - I was 13 years old. I am the oldest of 3 raised in a single parent household so I was often my own mother's helper. I continued to care for kids as summer nanny jobs after high school, college and post college between other work! In my spare time, I like to trail run, hike, read, paint, and rock climb. I'm also in the process of relearning Spanish and learning French! My skills include patience, many years of experience (20+ of caregiving off and on), and creativity.
