I'm Shannon and I've worked with kids since I was a kid myself! worked in a rural primary school in Kenya. My internships during my undergrad focused on where kids and international relations intersect. I interned at a Pediatric AIDS foundation in Arusha, Tanzania and for World Relief Spokane's Youth Program. I then worked full time for International's Youth Program in Spokane. Now I am living in Upland as I pursue fulfilling my federal service requirement. I find kids' perspectives refreshing and love to watch them learn and grow. At my core I believe every child deserves to be invested in by a village. I'm always grateful when I can be a part of that. The love of my life is my tiny poodle I love spoiling him and he knows it. Whether it's my collection of indoor plants or my parents' gardens I'm fascinated by the photo synthesizers.
