About Shannon

My name is Shannon. I am a mother of 3 children, including teenage boy/girl twins and an 11-year-old girl. I am new here, as I have been raising my own kiddos, but I have always loved children and am well equipped in caring for children of all ages as well as children with diverse needs. I started my career in teaching, and connect with babies and kids of all ages and stages. I enjoy spending free time using imagination and creativity to care and bond with children and easily implement requested routines and schedules. I am patient and calm while also active and playful. I understand each child's unique needs and interests based on their developmental stage. I prefer open communication with parents based on their preferences during my time spent, but am comfortable in any scenario. I can help with meal prep, driving, and light housekeeping during my job as my own experiences as a parent and a single mom has given me a deep appreciation for leaving my own children with new caregivers.
