My name is Shannon, and I am a student at Saint Louis University studying Occupational Therapy. I am preparing to receive my Bachelors degree this year and will then go on to graduate school to become an occupational therapist. Throughout my studies both in college and in the time before I have gained several years of experience in working with individuals with disabilities and am confident in skills including medication and treatment management, adaptive equipment assistance, tube feedings, blood sugar checks, and more. I am employed at SLU hospital as a student rehab technician in their Physical Medicine department and continue to practice these necessary aspects of care. I am CPR/First Aid certified and have the passion for working with people and doing what I can to be an aid to accomplishing their goals.
