Upon moving to Westerly, RI I was hired by Seniors Helping Seniors and was immediately placed to work in multiple settings including; in home senior care, washing and bathing responsibilities, medication prep, grocery shopping as well as companion care. After my first rewarding week I was transferred to STONERIDGE RETIREMENT CAMPUS, and worked in both the downstairs assisted living quarters, and as a senior aide for several marvelous 80+ seniors for over two years. Shortly after starting work I was hired on the spot for a senior gentleman who was a permanent resident at STONERIDGE. For 2 entire years I worked as a live in tending to all the requirements demanded from an assistant including attending all doctors appointments. I loved my work and was devastated when my talents and care giving services were no longer required due to a sudden ailment. IM VERY ATTENTIVE, competent and detail oriented. I love listening to long winded stories.
