About Shannon

Hello! My name is Shannon and I am a licensed teacher and specialize in reading intervention. I taught in Granite School District for 7 years and spent most of my time in lower elementary grades. I loved my job as a 2nd grade teacher and later, a reading interventionist, but I decided to resign to take care of my two daughters at home. I am currently looking for a very part-time job as a tutor for a family who needs some extra support! I love spending time with kids as well as enhancing their basic and academic skills. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a minor degree in Human Development and Family Sciences. I have worked at a local daycare, Huntington Learning Center, Channing Hall Charter School, and have received various nannying and tutoring jobs through care. com in the past.
