With over 15 years of childcare experience, I've worked with children of all ages, from infants to teenagers. I've babysat children aged 3 months to 14 years since 2009, served as a daycare attendant for children aged 5 months to 3 years (2012 thru 2020), and nannied for kiddos up to age 12. I also bring classroom experience, having taught music, drama, ASL, and ukulele to students from TK through 12th grade. From 2019 to 2024, I managed a baby-and-me music studio, specializing in early childhood development (ages 0 thru 3). I hold a BA in Deaf Studies from CalState Northridge, am fully fluent in both American Sign Language and English, and am CPR certified with comprehensive knowledge of medical and safety procedures. Shannon is absolutely wonderful with kids. She understands their needs at different life stages, and she’s understanding and calm when kiddos are having big feelings. It’s so nice to see her in action, because the kids seem to genuinely bring her as much joy as she brings them!
