About Shannon

I'm a childcare provider and certified speech language pathologist with a strong passion for fostering children's growth and development. I've been working with children professionally for about five years (with experience prior to working full time) and have a graduate degree. I believe in supporting families and providing a reliable childcare option. I'm patient, calm, friendly, and responsible. I love to support children in learning through play. I follow the parents' preferred communication method about their child's day or any issues that arise. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules as long as they are rules I can morally support. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational games with children. I'm comfortable caring for one child between the ages of 0-11. I'm also willing to help with cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. I look forward to meeting you and your child!
