About Shannon

Hello! I have been working with special needs children and adults for my whole life. I have over 10 years paid experience, of which have all been in New York. I was the site coordinator at AHRC & was also a community research assistant at Camp ANCHOR, very renowned camp for the physically disabled and special needs community. I was a certified CPR instructor with the American Heart Association as well as with the Red Cross. I taught CPR/Responding to Emergencies/First Aid classes to the Town of Hempstead Public Safety Dept, Park Rangers & the Camp Anchor Counselors. I did let my certification expire last yr as I no longer working. (My husband passed away July 2024) I have raised 3 amazing children of my own, of which the youngest is having her own baby at the end of March here in Rockford, Michigan- which is why I am here! I'm looking forward to hearing from you! I will be in NY for July but will be back for August. Ps- Christmas I may go to NY if my sons can't come here.
