I have over 30 years of experience serving parents and children as a teacher, parent educator with Parents as Teachers, a La Leche League Leader, distributor of baby slings, and child care provider. I have a B. A. in Sociology from Southern Methodist University and an Assistants to Infancy Diploma from Association Montessori Internationale. I am a mom to three adult children, a dog and a cat. I love animals and care for many friend's and family member's pets when they travel, including those with special needs. Other services include home organization and Montessori home consultations.

When I had to be away for several weeks, Shannon cared for my aging cat with chronic kidney disease. In addition to keeping her regular routine for food and water, she made sure she had her meds each day and spent time giving her love and attention. After that, my extremely shy cat (whom some of my friends have never seen) would come out whenever Shannon visited to sit with her.
