Shannon babysat for my three kids when she was in high school. At that time they were 9 years old and 5 year old twins. She takes the job very seriously and I know she at times changes her social calendar to help me out at short notice! She is timely and always ready to help out the minute she steps in the door. The twins can be a handful and I have never seen Shannon show any frustration or signs of being overwhelmed. She gave the kids 100% during the time she was here and they just love her. My kids are involved in many extracurricular activities, Shannon is one of the few sitters I trusted to drive my kids to and from events. She has been a huge help to our family. We also know Shannon as a Girl Scout. Every summer the girl scouts in the area go to a volunteer led day camp-run by adults and Girl Scout teenagers. Shannon is one of those volunteers and the last 2 years she has been on the team of directors. The volunteers work in many group situations with the girls. My 9 year old looks up to Shannon and wants to stay in scouts so she can one day be a program aid/volunteer like Shannon.
