Hi! My name is Shannon. I am 23 years old with my bachelors degree from FAU. I have been working with kids for over 8 years now. I work full time but am looking to pick up some part time work for nights and weekends. I have vast experience with children of all ages! Including, infants, special needs, and ages 1-13. I have worked for 3 years as a program director for the after school programs at the YMCA. I am First Aid & CPR certified! I love the outdoors and love finding creative ways to keep the kids entertained using Montessori methods. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your family.

We hired Shannon as an after school babysitter for our 2 young boys. She came highly recommended from her 2 previous references. She was wonderful. Always came early, always respectful, very playful with the kids, conscientious about not feeding them too much junk food. She helped us with unpacking the kids' backpacks, doing some dishes, putting sheets on the bed, etc. Whatever we asked her, she would always respond with an enthusiastic Of Course! She even started potty training our little one. Always she was horsing around with the kids, playing pretend, watching them play outside with neighbor kids, etc. Even though we live 30+ minutes away from her, she never complained about the drive. Never complained about anything! She only missed one day because she was sick and even got tested for Covid for us and came back when negative; she always wore a mask as we asked of her. She is a true gem and I recommend her highly!!
