Hi there! My name is Shannon. I started babysitting in 2004 after taking a babysitting certification class when I was 10 years old, and have been an active caregiver ever since. I spent the last 3 years as a full-time K-12 substitute teacher in Burbank, working primarily with elementary students, students who speak English as a second language, and students with behavioral and learning obstacles. I have 15+ years of experience nannying kids ranging from 18 months, to 12 years old, with several sets of twins at different ages. I attended Oakland University in Michigan where I received my Bachelor's degree in Musical Theater, and I still love tapping into my creative side. I love to nourish children's minds and hearts, and I think all parents should feel comfortable knowing their child is receiving the best care they can.

Shannon is WONDERFUL. So bubbly, creative and fun, but incredibly responsible too which makes her a great caregiver. She loves reading and making art with your child and has so much patience. I feel good about the time my daughter has spent with Shannon because she prioritizes good things in life (experiences and friendships over fashion or lipstick). Shannon is a shining example, which is hard to come by these days. While she's young and vivacious, she's also mature (makes great choices) and communicates well. Shannon was with our family for over a year in Los Angeles and I just can't say enough wonderful things about her.
