Since my mother has worked in long-term care and hospice for most of my life, I have spent a lot of time around the elderly and dearly love that the with them. In addition, I currently have one woman with dementia that is very progressed and I sit with her a few hours a week and sometimes overnight. This includes a lot of care but I love doing it!

Shannon was a godsend for me and my son! As a single mom new to the area, I was overwhelmed with my 14mo daughter old and brand new son(just 3 weeks when "NanShan" was hired) has required special care including a g-tube for 10 weeks. She knew what she was doing and jumped right in, helping me with a smile no matter what. She helped me learn, balance, and better care for my children without ever pushing or judging. Shannon just gets it! We will be sad to lose her!
