I have a cumulative four years of experience in senior care. I worked as a live-in caretaker for an individual who required assistance with self-care, meal prep, walking and medication due to the results of a severe stroke. I also cared for their spouse at that time who has dementia, and I assisted with small errands and self-care. I most recently worked with an individual through Easter Seals of New Jersey. I assisted my client with self-care, operating medical equipment - such as their power chair, chair lifts, and prescribed medical respiratory equipment - I also transported my client using their specialized vehicle to appointments and recreational activities.
