About Shannon

I am a LPN, skilled nurse. I have over 25 years experience in wound care, facility long-term care and home-health. I can provide families with care for their loved ones, and provide them with the flexibility they need for their schedules. I'd describe my personality as approachable, honest, and friendly. I like caring for seniors because I like to provide a service to people that are in need. I'm looking for a job that can allow me to be helpful and make an impact in a person's life. I started caring for seniors when I was a young child, helping my mother take care of my great grandmother. I would go to the nursing home to see her, and visit other seniors that were lonely. When I graduated nursing school, I immediately started worked with senior patients. In my spare time, I like to visit with my family and friends, cook, create art, and go to the beach. My skills include my nursing background, nurturing skills, and socialization skills.
