About Shannon

As a childcare provider, I'm passionate about fostering children's growth and development. With over 10 years of experience caring for children between the ages of infant and 18. I'm also a current Substitute teacher, with 2 years of experience with kids with autism. I have the skills and knowledge to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for your child. My patient and calm nature, combined with my creativity and imagination, allows me to engage children in a variety of activities that promote learning and fun. I believe in open communication with parents and provide daily written reports, regular updates, and verbal communication at pickup to ensure you're informed about your child's day. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules and have experience playing a range of games with children, including outdoor sports, board games, and educational games. I'm also willing to help with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision.
