About Shannon

Hi, I am Shannon! I'm fun, vibrant, extroverted, and thoughtful! Between 10 years of babysitting, serving at summer camps, being a Young Life leader in Winter Park, and having 16 nieces and nephews, I love being with kids of all ages! What I am looking for in a job is pretty broad! I would love to simply cover a date night or be a long term nanny. As previously mentioned, I started working with kids when I was a teenager! I regularly babysat and served for weeks in the summer as a camp councilor. I am an artist so in my free time I love to paint, cook, decorate my apartment, sing, and play piano. I'm a big people person, so grabbing coffee or hanging out with friends is always priority! Something that I feel will set me apart as a care giver is, my enthusiasm! I find a lot of joy and excitement in the mundane and I love experiencing the fresh wonder children have in experiencing new things. My skills include creativity, doing activities, and being attentive to others needs.
