About Shannon

Hi my name is Shannon. I am in my mid twenties and I recently moved to Chicago. I do work for a marketing office in downtown Chicago but I have always had a passion for working with children. I have 7 years of paid childcare experience. I worked for three years as a lifeguard and taught swim lessons for children ages 2-10 years old. I also ran two swim camps for children 6-10. I have a B. S. in Biomedical Engineering and while I was completing my Bachelors degree I worked for a couple families in the Washington DC area. I am available on the weekends and occasionally weekdays. I would be happy to babysit for families on the weekends or in the evening. I have experience tutoring Kindergarten- 8th Grade. I really enjoy being outdoors, running, hiking and playing tennis.
