About Shannon

*I am currently teaching until June 7th. I can still work weekends and M, Th, F after 4:00 p.m. After June 7th, my schedule is completely open. I will be out of state the last week of July. I apologize for any inconveniences* Hi! I'm 26 years old and a graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where I received a bachelor's in Elementary Education with a minor in science. I am currently an 7th grade STEM teacher in Wauwatosa. Before that I was an ELA teacher for 7th grade and a science teacher for 8th grade. I have experience as a nanny (ages 0-11), a camp counselor (ages 7-12), a full time and part time babysitter, and a daycare worker (ages 0-5). I am certified in shaken baby syndrome training, SIDS training, mandated reporter, CPR, and AED. I am fully vaccinated and boosted. I prefer working with younger children because that is where my nanny and baby sitter background comes from, but since I teach 13 and 14-year-olds, I am also comfortable with older children.
