Hi, my name is Shannon, I am a 26-year-old career nanny looking for long term positions. I cannot wait to meet your amazing family! I studied English and Communications at WSU, including child psychology and education courses. I have 9 years of paid childcare experience. Experience with ages 3mo-15 years in private nannying positions and daycare. I am passionate about childcare using a gentle but firm approach - allowing children to learn their emotional needs and set boundaries! Play based and structured learning methods. I use Montessori methods to help children achieve independence. I have helped children achieve gross and fine motor, verbal and literacy, and developmental milestones. Potty training experience for both boys and girls. I have experience in developing homeschool curriculum for children ages 2-4, with a focus in letter recognition, counting, and learning through our environment!
