About Shannon

My name is Shannon and I adore working with and teaching kids. I love to read, dance, and draw all the time. I emphasize movement, creativity, outdoor play and curiosity! I have 7+ years of childcare experience and have worked with many wonderful families, ranging from toddlers to middle schoolers. I worked as a kids art teacher and ran a Lego Stop Motion Animation class for a few years. I also am a kid's yoga teacher and love helping kids build their confidence, improve their focus, and help them learn about their emotions. I currently write and illustrate children's picture books :) I was very involved in assisting families with school during the start of the pandemic and "pod" transitional classrooms during that following school year. I have prepared meals, managed nap times, school drop off/picks ups, homework help, and overall supporting the parents in whatever way they needed. I am very excited to meet you and your family!
