About Shannon

I am an experienced care giver and I absolutely love what I do. I took on this position to try to make a difference and to do something that has true meaning to it. I first went to school for human services and social work when I realized my passion was actually working with the elderly. I changed my course direction and have worked with the elderly (and also with the special needs community) ever since. My mission is to make sure that they know they are loved and cared about. I cared for my father for roughly 6 years who had early onset dementia and Alzheimers disease. He passed at 63 years old. I know how hard it is no matter what and how overwhelming it can get. Everyone I have cared for since has loved me because I go the extra mile and I make sure they always see me with am enthusiastic attitude and smile on my face.
