Hi! My name is Shannon. I graduated from UTampa in 2015 with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education and a master's degree in curriculum and instruction. I am K-6 certified, ESOL endorsed, reading endorsed, and I was an elementary school teacher for 7 years. I also have 16 years of babysitting experience. As a former teacher, I am very used to daily communication with parents and would provide text/call updates with photos throughout the day or in person updates at the end of the day; whichever you prefer. I also believe that children thrive with structure and would ensure that your child is exposed to a variety of indoor/outdoor games, physical sports, educational games, etc.. depending on your child's interests. I'm confident that my experience as well as my passion for working with children will provide the most comfortable and nurturing environment for your child.
