I have worked with both elderly and children with and without disabilities for approximately 20 years now. I was 19 years old when I started doing caregiving work. I've recently cared for a person with dementia and do call in shifts with a former client. ( I cared for his wife and now I help him when he needs me) I have formally taken care of a school aged child who is autistic and ADHD through PPL. my duties are based on need and can include things such as dressing, bathing, meal prep, errands, doctor appointments, cleaning, med reminder, and even been known to take out the dog. I have experience in using lifts and know how to care for someone bed bound. I have worked with someone with ms. I was there for 2 years worked about 30-50 hours a week. The families will give me references.
