About Shannen

I am in my final year at Florida College, majoring in psychology, and I'm also a member of the soccer team. I have a deep passion for working with children of all ages and backgrounds. Growing up, my mom ran a daycare, and I was involved in that from a young age. Throughout high school and into college, I spent a lot of time nannying for various families, giving me over 8 years of experience caring for kids. Additionally, I have experience working with children who have special needs, including my 9-year-old brother who has Fragile X Syndrome. My family is involved in foster care, and this experience has fueled my passion for building meaningful relationships and making a positive impact on the lives of children. In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano, riding bikes, participating in Bible studies with friends, and spending time with my fiancé. I am skilled at communicating and adapting to the needs and expectations of each individual family.
