I prefer nannying because I believe that it is important to give each child the time and attention they need and that can be a little difficult working in a childcare facility. Shaniece was our full time nanny for my 1.5 year old twins for about 6 mo. She is calm, kind and professional. She picked up the routines of our home very quickly. My kids, who were very much in their stranger danger phase when they met her, took to her immediately. She was responsible for their care, food prep (deciding herself what to prepare out of what is available in the fridge), and coming up with activities, during a time we aren't allowing screen time. She did all that and more. She had a good head on her shoulders and a great situational awareness for their safety when out. I had the opportunity to observe her directly with them frequently since I worked from home, and she always had a calm and confident way, even if they were being challenging. I trusted her 100% with my children and in our home.
