About Shanice

Shanice has been a true blessing. She is kind, caring, thorough, self-directed, and has a wisdom that shines through in her interactions. She runs the right balance between firmness ("yes, you do need to bathe") and gentleness. Her assessment skills are strong. She is patient. My mother doesn't like many people. And with her dementia, previously challenging traits have been magnified. Shanice navigates it all with grace and professionalism. She has been an invaluable addition to my mom's care team, and my mother has loved her from day one. I was anxious to bring in another young person, because of mom's behavior, but Shanice cut through that immediately, and brought out the "good mom". Mom trusts her implicitly, and so do I. I know my mom is well cared for when she is with Shanice, and that is invaluable. She is also just an incredible person, all around, with a positive energy and gentleness that emanate from her. God blessed me when He sent me Shanice.
