About Shania

Hi, my name is Shania, and I tutor math and English to children from Pre-k to 5th grade. In college, I study accounting which is a subject that values math and english equally. Making learning fun is my specialty. It is important to encourage children when they are learning. I do this by reassuring kids that questions are necessary to ask! I also congratulate children on their successes in the learning process so they are proud of their accomplishments. Alongside these subjects, I am a theater tutor/coach. As a teenager, I attended a performing arts high school that lead me to many opportunities. At 17, I won a scholarship to study Shakespeare in England at the British American Drama Academy(BADA) for three weeks. The arts are a great outlet for children to learn about self expression.
