Hi! My name is Shaniah I have a variety of experience spanning over 16 years. My experience ranges from long-term nannying, to being a preschool and third grade teacher, to being a camp counselor, to pediatric inpatient care. The common denominator that I loved in all of these jobs was getting to be around children. I currently work for a preschool near Arvada, but as I am going back to get my masters online, I need a little more flexibility in my schedule. Being surrounded by kids has always been my happy place, and while I'm looking forward to expanding my mind, I'm not willing to give up being around kids. I love animals and would love to care for any family pets! I am CPR, Safety Care, and MOAB certified, and have a reliable four door Subaru that can fit car seats if I'm ever needed to pick up your kids. I'm happy to provide references from past employers or families that I have nannied for if we think we would be a good fit for one another!

We had Shaniah come as a last minute sitter for the day, for our 4-month old, as our regular nanny was out. She was a few minutes early so that she could go over information with me, communicated updates throughout the day, asked great questions, and not only tolerated our slightly crazy dog, but also played with him. She followed our kiddo’s routine perfectly, and I had one very happy little dude at the end of the day! We absolutely plan to reach out to Shaniah again in the future!
