About Shane

Just moved back from teaching in Hawaii for the past three years. I am attaining my master's degree at CSU focusing on mild/moderate special needs individuals. My undergrad is in elementary education and I've been involved with multiple age groups of children in various affiliations performing a variety of tasks and responsibilities. I am always open to new ideas and challenges, as that keeps the day interesting and both the children and I learn something. Though no longer active on any teams, I still consider myself athletic as I practice and play a lot of sports and activities. So I can run with the littlest to the oldest of them and keep up. Experiences include but are not limited to: parenting, teaching, tutoring (private and corporate-sylvan learning), swim instructor, little gym instructor, personal aide, paraprofessional, 1 to 1 and 1:3 aide, child care sitter for evenings or weekend parent retreats, house-sitting, animal caretaking, cleaning, cooking, preparing, laundry, etc. I am an all encompassing individual capable of many tasks and responsibilities. I love to learn in life so that I may apply that knowledge to make life (usually) easier and enjoyable. If you have any questions please contact me. As per another site's recommendation, I do have a clean background check, and First Aid and CPR however I have not updated the later two, and they are outdated certifications.
