About Shanae

Hi! My name is Shanae! I am currently in my second year of nursing school and have worked as a PCA on a medical surgical floor at Massachusetts General Hospital. I have completed clinical hours in a variety of inpatient settings including rehab units, skilled nursing homes, assisted living facilities, maternity and pediatric units and mental health/behavioral units. I have assisted individuals of all ages in performing activities of daily living including feeding, bathing, toileting, dressing, transferring and mobility. I can also assist with housekeeping, daily chores, transportation, meal preparation and provide general companionship. I am BLS (basic life support) certified which includes CPR and AED training. I am a compassionate, energetic and cheerful person. In my free time I enjoy hiking, camping, crafting and hanging out with my dogs. I truly enjoy helping others and making everyone's day a little bit brighter!
