About Shalyce

As a childcare provider with eight years of experience, my passion for nurturing young minds has led me to pursue various avenues of education in child development. My background includes some college coursework and certifications such as First Aid Training and CPR Training, as well as experience working with special needs children. I'm a certified teacher with coursework in early child development. I am patient, calm, creative, imaginative, friendly, and approachable. My approach to childcare involves open communication with parents through written daily reports and verbal communication at pickup. While I am somewhat comfortable enforcing household rules, I believe in fostering a nurturing environment that encourages children to learn and grow. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including outdoor sports and physical games, as well as board games and puzzles. I am comfortable caring for up to three children, ranging in age from infants to preteens.
