I have extensive training and experience caring for infants, toddlers and children, I am a professional, qualified caregiver. I don't only take care of basic physical needs like safety, good nutrition and good hygiene. I also work with parents and do my best to help the children I care for, grow and develop to their fullest potential, by forming good habits being fair, and considerate of others. I teach them to be able to solve problems on their own. I encourage them to express their feeling and to use their creativity. The children in my care will always feel loved and respected and given as much attention as possible. I take the children I care for to fun outings: parks, museums, libraries etc. so they can explore have fun, learn new things and interact with different people. I have experience as an ESL teacher. I am certified in CPR and First Aid, Infant & Child Health and Safety, Child Development-Ages and Stages, Nutrition and Feeding.

I really liked Elizabeth (Shalom). She was so good with my son and made him delicious meals. Our issue was with her reliability. She was always at least 15 minutes late and she just didn't show up one day which was really disappointing. I tried calling and texting her and didn't get an answer for a few hours. She had texted me the day before confirming she was watching my son (she only watched him one day a week and had been off the previous two weeks so it has been a few weeks since we had seen her) and I replied to her yes. She claims she didn't get my text confirming because she has bad wifi and assumed I didn't need her. But not once was a flaky on her and I had given her all the days I needed for the first two months when she was hired. She also called out sick at the last minute, twice (which I was very understanding about), but she gave me only one week notice that she needed off for a vacation which wasn't ideal. I do recommend her if you are really flexible and don't mind her being late and calling off sometimes because she was amazing with my son. But if you need someone super reliable then you should go with someone else.
