About Shaliyah

I've spent many years as a childcare provider because I love making a positive impact on the lives of children and supporting families. I also am a mother of a 7 year autistic son. He is my everything and I've learned so much with him. I'm patient, calm, and friendly with children of all ages. I keep parents updated on their children's day through regular texts or phone calls and follow their preferred communication style. When it comes to enforcing household rules, I take my cues from the parents. My favorite games to play with children include educational games that promote learning and outdoor physical activities. I can comfortably care for up to three children at a time and have experience with children of various age groups. I have some college education, my major was for social work. I have a car, so transportation isn't an issue. I'm passionate about providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to thrive. I look forward to meeting you and your family
