About Shakib

I have been teaching and tutoring Chemistry in both official and unofficial settings for over six years now and have garnered lessons and experience that can only come from teaching so many students in so many different contexts. I have taught and studied alongside tenured Chemistry teachers and professors across Southern California and have modeled my teaching styles after their accredited lecture plans to great success. Under my guidance, my most accomplished students have gone on to receive full scholarships and accommodations from notable universities like MIT, Stanford, UC Berkeley pursuing science or have successfully reentered the job market after nearly 20 years in non-STEM industries. These unique experiences are what I bring to any opportunity set before me, helping my students and peers alike achieve more than they knew they were capable of.
