About Shain

Hello! My name is Shain, and I graduated with a degree in early/middle childhood education from UW- La Crosse in 2021. I worked as a 1st grade teacher for one year. I also have previous experience as a substitute teacher, an assistant teacher at an NAEYC accredited daycare, and as a nanny for children with high needs. I find joy in working with children and supporting them in their growth, leading with kindness, and providing developmentally appropriate learning opportunities. My favorite way to engage with children is by exploring the outdoors! I love taking children on outings and letting them learn about the world through experiences. I am also comfortable caring for children in their homes and meeting their needs and parents' expectation through mutual communication
