About Shaina

I am an experienced nanny with over five years of professional experience and nine years of personal experience working with children from the age of 0 to 10 years. My approach is focused on compassion and attachment-based approaches. From day one, I focus on creating a solid bond from which children can begin exploring the world and learning to regulate emotions. I utilize a child centered approach, focusing on their interests to drive their social, emotional, and cognitive development. I like to work in collaboration with parents to execute flexible care that is designed to meet the individualized needs of families and children. Ideally, I'm looking for a family I can grow with and would like a nanny for 1+ years. I can start anytime between November and the beginning of January. I am looking for a family within the city limits or within 15 minutes of Squirrel Hill.
