About Shaina

I started my childcare journey in 2011-2017. I worked at day camps in the summer that focused on the arts with 4-8-year-olds. In 2021, after working in restaurants, I decided I wanted to go back to what I was passionate about: childcare. I started working at the Goddard School. I was primarily with the 2-year-old (shout out to the Kangaroo room!!). I also helped out in the infant room, the 1-year-old room, and the 3-5-year-old room when asked to. I loved those kids and loved watching them learn and grow. However, I decided to pivot to nannying in 2023. I started with my first and current nanny-share family in January 2023. They started as a 2-year-old, 2 1/2-year-old, and 6-year-old. They have stolen my heart and I have enjoyed every minute with them. However, the 2 1/2 year old is now 4 and she is going into preschool! I'm so proud of her, but that does mean I have to find a new family. I'll miss them every day, but I'm excited to find something new!"
