I have several past experiences caring for children. Besides having 2 younger siblings and many younger cousins, I have babysat regularly since I was 12 years old and have had 3 long-term childcare care positions. The most recent was the past spring and summer when I took care of an 8-year-old girl while her mother was at work or school. I would pick her up at school, bring her home, cook dinner, help her with homework, and make sure she did her chores. I would also take her to the park to play and also to the library. I have also worked with children as a ski and snowboard instructor, so I know how to turn learning into a game to keep children interested. I have tutoring experience as well(mostly science) and I speak a little Spanish and American Sign Language.
