About Shae

Hello there! My name is Shae, and I bring a well-rounded background in both childcare and caregiving. I have been nannying for six years on and off, gaining experience with children of various ages. I worked at a preschool for four years, taught ski lessons to 4-6-year-olds for three winters, and interned for an outdoor recreation class for 8th graders. Additionally, I was a live-in nanny for a 9-month-old, and I continue to care for her as she has grown into a lively 5-year-old! Alongside my childcare work, I am currently attending school for pre-nursing. I have significant experience in caregiving, including memory care for individuals with dementia and providing end-of-life care for a family member in hospice. I approach caregiving with empathy, patience, and a focus on creating a supportive, comforting environment. In my free time, I love to ski, climb, run, and enjoy just about any outdoor activity.
