Hi! I'm Sha'am, and I recently returned from Peace Corps in Ghana. Growing up with a mother in childcare, I developed a love for working with kids. I started babysitting early and have since worked in various childcare settings. My first job was at Lil' Chefs School, where I led cooking classes and earned my CPR/First Aid certification, which I keep up to date. I have experience with children of all ages, from newborns to teens, as a tutor (independent and through a company) and as a babysitter via Care. com. I graduated from UCLA with a degree in International Development and a minor in Cognitive Science. After two years in Ghana, I have returned to the US and am currently working towards a master's in Speech-Language Pathology with a pediatric focus.
