About Serena

Hi everyone my name is Serena! I've been doing caregiving for about 5+ years and I enjoy doing what I do. I started being a caregiver when I had to care for my love one which was my father who had stage 4 colon cancer. Ive worked with patients who have Parkinson's disease, dementia and Alzheimer's. I've also worked for two different hospitals with sentara and I've worked at a physician office as well. I'm a certified medical assistant and certified in basic life support and first aid. I love being a caregiver because I know what it feels like to be able to see your love one getting better or just being happy for however long that may be and that's why I do what I do. Being able to know I'm making a difference in my patients life is a blessing to me and that's why I hope you all consider me to be your caregiver so I can do the same for your love ones.
