About Serena

Hi everyone my name is Serena and I've been doing caregiving for about 5+ years and I enjoy doing what I do. I started being a caregiver when I had to care for my love one which was my father who had stage 4 colon cancer. Ive worked with all sorts of patients in the hospital as well as private duty patients who have Parkinson's disease, dementia and Alzheimer's. I've also worked for two different hospitals with sentara and I've worked at a physician office as well. I'm a certified medical assistant and certified in basic life support and first aid. I love being a caregiver because of the one on one interactions I get to have with all of my clients. I enjoy being able to help them with their daily task throughout the day, and just being able to be there for them for support.
