Hi, I am an Italian girl currently living in the Bethesda area. I have been in the DMV area for the last 10 years. Last year I completed my PhD in neuroscience at Georgetown University and at the moment I work as a scientist at the NIH. I started babysitting in 2015. I first started with my father's colleagues' kids (diplomatic families), and then they recommended me to so many other families, therefore I have 10+ years of babysitting experience. From 2020 until few months ago, I was the babysitter of a family living in DuPont circle - 2 lovely boys that I basically raised. Now, they go to daycare so I go to see them when they need me. I am happy to provide references if needed and be your new babysitter/ nanny! I speak Italian, English and a little of Spanish. I have my car and clean driving record. As a federal employee, I hold a security clearance. I am happy to provide you different services (pick-up/drop off / meal prep / cleaning / playground).

Serena is an absolute gem of a babysitter-as soon as she enters the door, all the kids in the house come running downstairs to welcome her. She is responsible, mature, timely, and always a fun educational time for the kids! The kids are always curious to learn about the Phd research experiments Serena conducts in her laboratory at Georgetown! I have recommended Serena to friends as well for babysitting, and they have all been pleased and turned into repeat customers. I highly recommend Serena to watch your kids of all ages- you will have no have to worry about them and can enjoy your time out!
