About Serena

As a college student building a career in early childhood education, I am passionate about fostering the development of children. I started out by nannying and babysitting, teaching piano lessons, and I have been teaching Preschool for the past year! I have gained experience working with a multitude of children and tracking their development across the spectrum. My background in inclusive early childhood education and my college studies further equip me to provide a rich and stimulating environment for your child. My patient and friendly nature allows me to connect easily with children and build a trusting relationship. I believe in open communication with parents and regularly provide updates on your child's day, including pictures! I am also very comfortable enforcing household rules to ensure a safe and structured environment. As an early childhood educator and piano instructor, I strive to provide activities and experiences to foster learning how kids learn best- by play!
