About Serena

As a dedicated and experienced caregiver with over 10 years of experience, I have a deep passion for nurturing and educating children. My journey began as the eldest daughter in a large family, where I discovered my love for caring for children. I began working at a daycare of a family at the age of 14 along with babysitting gigs on the side until moving to college at 19 years old where I continued babysitting. After graduating from UCLA, I embarked on a teaching career, where I have spent the last two years as a third-grade teacher. While pursuing my Master's degree in Education, I also provide babysitting services to support my studies. My approach to childcare is centered around patience and care. I prioritize open communication with parents, using their preferred method to discuss their child's day and address any concerns. Regarding household rules, I believe in following the parents' guidance and ensuring a consistent and safe environment for the children. (:
