About Serena

Hi families! My name is Serena. I'm 21 years old and currently pursuing a degree in Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Arizona. I grew up in Sedona, Arizona, where I spent nine years working towards a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. To receive my black belt I was required to teach classes to the younger kids. This was the first time I was able to experience working with children. This work brought me so much joy I knew I would be working with children in the future. For the majority of my life, I wanted to be a Social Worker for adolescents. Recently I've been considering law school to work in Family Law. Either way, my career path involves children, and I would love to get more experience. I love working with children and my schedule is pretty flexible.
